I had a question regarding CB chargebacks...
From my understanding, a customer often does a chargeback because they dont notice the item on their credit card statement that they purchased....and then does a chargeback.
As a lot of you already know, customers often do a chargeback without first notifying CB or the merchant for a refund.
What I was wandering, is there a way to eliminate these chargebacks by having the credit card company contact CB and make it a refund instead so that the chargeback doesnt happen?
Even if the merchant had to pay a small fee to the cc company to eliminate the chargeback, it would still be cheaper.
I heard that cc companies make money processing chargebacks. :-(
Just wandering if their can be something done about this if CB made a deal with the cc companies?
