Clickbank asked us to announce this message:
______________________________________
"ClickBank.net has been turned back to green on SiteAdvisor. We were
able to work with McAfee and help them understand our business model,
and how the red flag negatively affected ALL of our publishers, not just
the publisher deemed suspicious by McAfee. We thank all our clients for
their patience during the time it took for us to work through this
difficulty with McAfee."

Great news for us. I believe that there are still many other site's not involved with Clickbank who are being harmed by siteadvisor rating system. Like a little mom & pop outfit that sells candles online and who is linked to from directories that link to dubious stuff. Well, at least that's not us anymore. Thanks to Mcafee too for recognizing Clickbank's business model.

Good news, indeed! Furthermore, I hope this is a sign of ClickBank being much more proactive on these matters. I know there's at least one other security program that blocks CB hop links (I don't recall the name, but I believe Miles knows it) -- hopefully they're next on the list.

I wouldnt get so excited this quickly...
1) What about CB publishers who are marked red because of a spammer like dean who has a 9/9 score where the publisher is only receiving automated responses back from SiteAdvisor? SiteAdvisor only did this with CB to buy them time to get Clickbank fans off of their back about their crappy review system. SiteAdvisor may have fooled some people, but unless I see this corrected for legit mom and pop publishers, not good.
2) Clickbank.net still isnt green for publishers who are linked to clickbank.net
3) Still waiting on a response from SiteAdvisor. Still havent talked to a real person. Getting the run around.
I wander how many 9/9 score reviewers it takes to make SiteAdvisor, McAffee red? Seems to be the only way to have a say when reviewing a site.

How often does SiteAdvisor update the links that sites are pointing to? Alot of sites that were changed over a month ago are still pointing to sites that they are no longer linked to. Is this not a lawsuit waiting to happen? Even when changing links, SiteAdvisor doesnt update them. Really, are we suppose to waste our time and effort contacting an automated support team who doesnt do a thing to get a simple update made? They shouldnt have this "linking" thing if they dont keep them updated often.
