Still Worth it, Not worth it?
Maybe google/yahoo/msn are taking longer than usual, but I'm not seeing exceptional results.

Hello,
I am still having great results :) Take a look at the last post I made to this thread link (http://ewealth.com/showthread.php?t=11240) I still getting new articles ranked while having old articles still on page 1. The one I show in the thread link above has been ranked now for 17 months.
Keep at it and try some new things with your artilce marketing
Cheers,
Paul

Article marketing is still going strong for me. I've made four sales from an article that I wrote two days ago. Woohooo!!

If you were writing an article to promote an affiliate product would you link directly to the affiliate landing page or to your own "in between" page to presell the product?

depending on how you want to monetize your traffic that comes to your article. sending directly to the sales page works, but having a squeeze page will help to further pre-sell the customer on the product, plus you can collect emails if yu have in opt-in on the page. that way, even if they don't buy the first time, you can always email them more offers.

I agree with Yukinari, you might be able to make some quick cash by just pluggin in affiliate links, but in the long run, you'll be better off with a decent site and the list that goes with it.

yep. to me it just makes more sense to get as much as you can out of your prospects.
