Is the Perry Marshall Google Adwords book any good? Or is it just another $97 rehash like the others?

Did you try out the free ecourse yet? Read that first. See if that will help you.

One thing you want to keep in mind, if you do decide to buy the ebook is that Perry has a great cheat proof affiliate program. You either have to buy through him or an affiliate, not your own link. You can make your money back and not worrying about your commissions getting hijacked.

Now, if you're short on money, or you're new to pay per click, have you tried Google's resources?

It's just my opinion, but sometimes the best resources to get you started are what I call primary, i.e. straight from the source.

Google might act like a bunch of liberals sometimes, but they want you to make money because they make money.

Here's the link to their university.

Brad Callen offers a free ebook called Adwords Made Easy.

Why am I telling you this? What I have learned about $97 ebooks is that if you are new at this (you may not be new to marketing, just new to Adwords), you need to start off as a beginner. Learn the basics. For free. When you feel comfortable, then buy that expensive ebook and take it the rest of the way.

Just my opinion. I hope this helps. Jinger

YES highly recommended! But my suggestion is to buy his Book not his ebook. It costs about $20 and you get a bunch of free stuff included. Barnes and Noble has it or order from Amazon. Plus I find it easier to read a real book and have it as a reference.

That's not what was asked. He asked if the $97 EBOOK was any good. If you were recommending a book, you should have explained that.

One thing I would recommend is that you should check at the library first. See if there's a copy. Read it, for free, and then if it's what you need, then buy it.

I was offering alternatives because I think $97 is way too much for an ebook, and it's been my experience that they don't live up to the $97 price tag. Better to spend the money on good keyword software, or marketing software.

Perry Marshall's ebook is great, but I think its best for individuals who have had some exposure to affiliate marketing, as it doesn't really give an introduction to that topic.

Perry Marshall's advice is solid. It's worth bearing in mind that there have been a number of Adwords related products in recent times, which have gone to become best sellers.

Yet for some reason, people keep going back to Perry Marshall.

That says it all.

Best

Another plug for Perry!

I think Perry Marshall's book, "The Ultimate Guide to Google AdWords", is one of the best AdWords books out there.

He wrote it with Bryan Todd.

It's the 'bible' for many AdWords PPC marketers, but being a paperback book, some things have already changed with AdWords since the book was published in 2007.

Nevertheless, it's still got plenty of useful info in it.

It covers a wide range of key AdWords topics, plus also looks at list building, some SEO basics, and ad copy tips and techniques.
I highly recommend it.

You can find it on Amazon.
