In the past I have heard that instant buzz is an effective way to advertise your website. For those of you who haven't heard of this program; you simply download a toolbar and everytime you surf, 1 line ads are displayed on it. You earn credits when you surf so your ad gets displayed on other peoples computers. I have recently signed up to this and as of yet I haven't had great results. I probably have to wait a while but I was wondering if anyone here was having success with it.

I have used it with not much of a result. Yes there is traffic but it is not targeted traffic.

It's a terrible source of traffic. I have ran text ads on there that pulled very well in ezines, traffic exchanges and (variations of it) on pay per click. Yet 50,000 - 150,000 views is what it took for one click.

I wouldn't even touch it.

I've tried for several years to get traffic with InstantBuzz. A total watse of my time personally.

I doubt you will get anyone who says they do get traffic to tell you how they do it. Good Luck!
