Recently google have been cracking down on accounts that
were promoting movie, music,tv show and game downloads and suspending
them from ever using google adwords. I heard from more then several individuals about them being suspended from using adwords ever again over this issue (i thank my lucky stars that i am still active).
Being banned from adwords is a lifetime sentence
Has anyone on this forum ever got banned from google? did you manage to open a different account on google later on somehow?
P.S , please don't turn this thread into...they got what they deserve kind of thread beacuse its not what im asking here..

Yep if you get banned from Google Adwords, there are ways to get back in.

You can always set up a different corporation with a different address. I have never been banned, don't plan on it either.

Sounds rather difficult to do...if you already own one company..:(

As well as change your ip, and your address to be absolutely certain.
if Google sees another account opened from an identicle address that they had banned, they may be inlcined to re-ban without notice.
from what i hear at least...
do some google searching on "adwords ban", "banned from adwords" , "suspended from adwords", "banned from adwords" and "adwords suspension"
you will find multiple discussions and websites related to this topic.
A member of another forum (i wont say which one) called MicroMag had this to say about google adwords bans...
"They use an advanced algorithm to keep you out from AdWords.
your name, the site you promote, the ISP you use, your credicard info, cookies on your computer and your geoposition info are used against you to known who you are in order to freeze the new accounts you create.
and every time you try to create a new account and they discover you they collect more and more data about you to have more chance to detect you next time you try to create a new account."
so it's best to take as many precautions as possible if this does happen to you.

A few days ago I was banned by adwords by promoting music, tv and game downloads... I pleaded my case as their policy is new and other are still promoting it like crazy... Bottomline is all i get is copy and paste response from them, I plan on creating a new company this May, so would be alright if I use a new CC with different address, and I changed my name a bit.. used the my M.I. as my last name. Will have a new computer and new internet connection, plus new domain names.. Will i be able to open new accounts by doing that? Also some of the sites I promote are ebooks that are my products, so is it ok if the content is the same but the domain is different? Would that be ok?? also google still owes me more than $500 dollars from campaigns that incurred clicks even though paused, they said they would refund me but never got credited. So do you think I should dispute this to my CC if they dont activate my old account?
thanks
Hope you guys reply or if you have opened new accounts even though you were banned before as googleadwords is the heart of my business thanks...

hey man, it sounds like your covering pretty much all the bases you can. Just don't give google any information they've maybe had on you previously.
I wouldnt log in to your old email accounts or anyting on this new computer and connection... use it strictly for adwords.... this is maybe a bit extreme, but you dont want google to catch you and ban your new account that's for sure.
keep us posted on what happens man, good luck!

Yea, I definitely hear you. Some people are getting banned when they didn't do anything wrong at all. I don't know but it happens. Sooner or later a mob is goin to form because of it.

next thing you know there would be anti google and google or adwords suck campaign...
Google seems to be very fast on banning people right now, maybe its ok to ban but a lifetime ban??? Some people do worse things and don't even get a lifetime ban or imprisonment hehe...

Yea, I know one vendor who I've watched very closely who has been violating Googles TOS for a long time now and he's considered to be a qualified Google Adwords Advertising Professional. Yet, he's been running the same ads now to make some serious money.
