Ok, so now Clickbank is requiring you get a EIN for tax purposes.

my question is, since I'm looking in to incorporating or forming an LLC, should i do that first before i get an EIN or should i just get the EIN and then go from there?

How long until you are incorporated? Will it be done this year? I would probably go ahead and get a tax ID as to avoid any drama.

Not sure. I was thinking of just getting the tax ID now since it's free to do and then inc. later since that will cost me 300-500 to do.

Iguana........that sounds like a good plan. The tax ID is relatively simple to get and it is always good to insure you are not in violation of any TOS and thus give them the ability to withhold funds.

Another thing is if i would get the EIN now and dont put down a business name (not really sure what i want to call my business yet) and just my name, would i be able to change that later?

damn all this legal shit.

Do you currently have a DBA?

If not and you are doing business under your personal name than that would probably be the way to go.

Keep in mind I am just giving my thought........I am far from an expert. :)
